In the latest release we have added features such as Breakaway Camera or EA GameStory. The first of them causes that in case of a situation alone with the opposing team's goalkeeper the action slows down and we have to cope with increasing pressure. EA GameStory, on the other hand, follows the events during the match, preparing a complete video report of the match, including commentary.
An artificial intelligence of players has been improved, thanks to which both defenders and attackers play better, and the whole gameplay has gained in realism. Growing emotions on the pitch change the behaviour of hockey players expressing their anger or opposition. The editor allows you to create your own players, attack lines, as well as defense.
In addition to changes in the course of hockey matches, there is also a real treat for collectors in the form of the NHL Cards system modeled on the series Madden NFL. By playing spectacularly, scoring a goal in the first seconds of the game, etc., we score special points, for which we buy sets of random cards. In addition to pictures of licensed players, they often provide bonuses, cheats and other hidden options.
